Handelsdagarna is the School’s annual recruitment fair, which will be held in February 2011. A large number of companies attend the forum in two days to recruit new employees, promote their business and meet students. Each day ends with a gala dinner where company representatives and students can network without strain.

Womens's Banking Day

Women’s Banking Day is an educational event with an aim to attract female students from the BSc and MSc programs to the investment banking industry. The event will be focused on interaction between companies and students. There will be panel discussions, a lunch lecture, workshops and case studies but also mock-interviews and opportunities for the companies to meet students under more informal sessions both during the day and in the evening before the actual event. Women’s Banking Day 2010 will take September 23th!

Focus on Finance

The Business Committee at the SSE arranges the finance career fair Focus on Finance. The aim of the fair is to promote contacts between BSc and MSc students at the SSE and companies within the financial markets. This year's Focus on Finance will take place at the SSE in the beginning of October.

Enterprise Day

The aim of Enterprise Day is to inspire and motivate BSc students to believe in themselves, their ideas and new opportunities. During the day there will be lectures, case competitions, personal advisory of who to start your own enterprise, a fair where the students have the chance to mingle with companies, and the day will end with a dinner event during the evening. The ambition is to create an enterprise friendly environment at the SSE and to encourage students to make a reality of their ideas.

Paris Career Week

This project follows the same concepts as London Career Week, but aim to expose 30 students to companies operating in Paris. The project aims to demonstrate career opportunities in Paris and does not target any specific company profile. Paris Career Week will take place next spring. Students are selected based on requirements from the participating companies.

London Career Week

This is a project that aims to expose 30 pre-selected students that are interested in the financial industry other than the traditional Investment Banking. The students visit Asset Management firms, M&A Boutiques, Financial News Bureaus, Consultancies or any other financial companies in the City. The London Career Week will take place at the same time as the London Investment Banking Week. The students will be selected on the requirements from the participating companies.

London Investment Banking Week

Every year 30 selected SSE students go to London for a week to experience life in the City. The students visit ten investment banks from Monday to Friday. The students are penultimate students from the Bachelor or Master program. The students are selected based on the requirements from the participating companies. The London Investment Banking Week will take place at the end of October.
